[Cracked] Prezi Desktop

What is Prezi Desktop?

Prezi Desktop is a fully-featured Prezi application that installs on your Windows or Mac computer. It contains all of the great elements of the Prezi online editor with a few extra special features.

With Prezi Desktop you can:
Create, edit, and present prezis wherever you are, even if there’s no Internet connection available.
Take your prezis with you, make new prezis, and work on prezis that you download from the prezi.com cloud.

Once you have downloaded and installed Prezi Desktop and then logged in using your Prezi account, you can work on your prezis off-line or behind a highly secure firewall. You only need to be online if you want to upload or download prezis, or if you want to log in to another Prezi account.

Prezis created with Prezi Desktop use the PEZ file format. This allows you to store and manage your prezi files on your computer's hard drive or on your network file system. Name them as you please, and store them in appropriate folders.

When is it better to use Prezi Desktop?

Here are some of the reasons that you might want to use Prezi Desktop along with, or instead of, the Prezi online editor:
Prezi Desktop allows you to present when you aren't sure that you will have access to a reliable internet connection. Even if you're planning on presenting from the web, saving a local copy just in case there are unexpected connection problems is always a good idea. If the unforeseen happens, you'll be ready for anything and able to present your prezi from Prezi Desktop without missing a beat.

You can take your prezis with you and edit them at any time. Need to make some changes while you're on a plane above the Atlantic or on vacation in the woods? With Prezi Desktop on your laptop, and your prezi downloaded, you can create and edit on your laptop and then upload what you have done later. It's also possible to present portable prezis off-line with Prezi Desktop (Note: it's not possible to edit portable prezis in Prezi Desktop).
If your workplace limits web access or has firewall restrictions, Prezi Desktop lets you work without access to the cloud.
Or, you may simply feel better if you have a copy of your work on your own computer.

What is the difference between a portable prezi and a PEZ file?

PEZ Files:

Prezi Desktop uses the PEZ format when creating and saving files. These files will open and run only with Prezi Desktop -if you don't have Prezi Desktop installed on your computer, you won't be able to open a PEZ file. But once you do have Prezi Desktop installed, you can open, edit, and then save your prezi as a PEZ file as many times as you like. If you have created a prezi online using the online editor, you can convert it to PEZ file from your prezi library using the 'Download' button. This makes it possible for you to edit your prezi using Prezi Desktop. PEZ files can also be uploaded to prezi.com for editing with the online editor.

Portable prezis:

A portable prezi is a self contained version of a prezi. They do not require any special software to view, but they cannot be edited - it is a finished/unchangeable version of a prezi. Portable prezis are a great way to create an off-line version of your prezi incase you suddenly lose your connection to the Internet. This is especially true for users who don't have a Pro or EDU Pro account and so do not have access to Prezi Desktop. They are also ideal for sending to conference organizers ahead of your presentation. Again, just as with a PEZ file, you can convert a prezi you have created online into a portable prezi from your prezi library, using the 'Download' button.

Multiple Windows

Prezi Desktop can be used to open several prezis at once in different windows. This makes it easy to compare different prezis.
You can also copy and paste text or graphics between your prezis.
