AJAX Essential Training

‘AJAX Essential Training’ shows experienced web developers how to utilize AJAX to best create dynamic pages. The course covers selecting the best tools for the job (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML), understanding all aspects of HTTP from requests to responses, and creating dynamic forms and maps from static HTML and CSS forms and files. It also explains in detail how to get and use the Yahoo! UI framework. Exercise files accompany the tutorials. Course lecturer Dori Smith is the co-author of several best-selling books on JavaScript and Dreamweaver, and a contributor to numerous tech industry magazines, both online and in print. She is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, is on the steering committee for the Web Standards Project, is a co-lead of the DOM Scripting Task Force, and is a member of the Adobe and Microsoft Task Forces. Dori contributes to the long-running Backup Brain blog.
