CSS for Designers is another product created by Molly Holzschlag and Andy Clarke, who seem like they’re everywhere in the web development realm. They visit countless conferences and have written multiple books about the subject, all of which demonstrate the authors’ deep breadth of knowledge and thorough understanding of both code and visual design. Unlike other CSS instructional and/or reference products, CSS for Designers puts greater stock in the visual aspect of design, leading to far more appealing final results.

Because CSS for Designers is dependent upon a computer to operate, you have all the necessary files from the onset of your purchase (however, Lynda.com, has some relevant exercise files for “Premium” subscribers). Of course, that limits your access points, because you can’t just take CSS for Designers to a park bench unless your laptop has an abundance of battery life. Consumers will also appreciate the online service, should they choose to use it, which eliminates the need for the CSS for Designers disc.
